Hatuma Agricultural Lime is the product that started it all for Hatuma Lime Company way back in 1932. Historically manufactured to the NZ Department of Agriculture’s specifications, the product has particle-sized grains that work instantly as well as last in the soil for up to a 4 year period.

Hatuma Agricultural Lime will correctly keep your farm’s soil pH maintained in a healthy balanced state to ensure the correct organic processes are working effectively for strong humus development and nutrient availability and stability.

Generate Lime

Generate Lime

Hatuma Generate Lime® is designed to react quicker and applied lighter than standard agricultural lime. That means you’re getting the benefits faster while saving on cartage and spreading costs.

In the mid-1980s - Hatuma began to experiment with light liming and Hatuma Generate Lime® was introduced to the market. Hatuma Generate Lime® contains only the lime grains that you need to do the work now. With the larger grains removed, Generate is a more efficient and quicker acting product. The dollar savings come from up to 40% lower application rates and 40% less transport requirement – all the while still maintaining an excellent reputation as a dustless, free flowing product that’s perfect for aerial topdressing.

Because agronomic effectiveness is more enhanced with all required nutrients being applied at the same time, further savings can be made by incorporating Hatuma Generate Lime®  with an annual fertiliser application of Hatuma Dicalcic Phosphate® or FuturepHos® and any other nutrients, reducing spreading costs even more, i.e. one mix, one pass.

FuturepHos®

FuturepHos®

Hatuma FuturepHos® is the new standard for eco-friendly high phosphate fertiliser in New Zealand.

Since 1962 Hatuma has led the way in sustainable and productive farming by supplying Hatuma Dicalcic Phosphate® to farmers. FuturepHos® takes 55 years of experience and results, and evolves the classic dicalcic phosphate product into an additional high analysis version, while retaining all the eco-friendly attributes the Hatuma name is well-known for.

Why use it?

MORE PHOSPHATE

FuturepHos® is specially formulated to meet the demands of the production-focused farmer by supplying a higher concentration of phosphate. This phosphate has been specially manufactured into the form of brushite – a calcium: phosphate that is fully plant available, non-water soluble and unique to dicalcic phosphate. The other calcium compound present in FuturepHos® is calcite (calcium carbonate) that stimulates plant and soil biomass.

Benefit: A perfect solution for the intensive farmer or capital applications.

NEUTRAL pH

With a neutral pH of 6.5–7.0, Hatuma FuturepHos® maintains a balanced environment in the soil for better soil nutrient and trace element efficiencies. It also creates the perfect soil environment for clover to flourish and fix its own nitrogen.

Benefit: Healthy, balanced soil and pasture. Less reliance on N fertiliser.

NON-WATER SOLUBLE

Hatuma FuturepHos® is non-water soluble so there’s little chance of phosphate run-off with the next shower or heavy dew. It takes approximately 297,000 litres of water to dissolve 100kg of Hatuma Dicalcic Phosphate. As a comparison it takes 4,160 litres to do the same to 100kg of superphosphate.

Benefit: Protects waterways, goodness stays where it is needed.

LONG-STANDING FORMULA

FuturepHos® has been made according to Hatuma’s carefully managed process that draws on over 55 years’ experience. It involves fusing limestone and phosphate together to provide the best of both worlds in one friendly product. FuturepHos® is the most cost-effective way for intensive farmers to apply phosphate, calcium and extra sulphur at the same time.

Benefit: Proven quality and supply.

TAILORED FuturepHos®
BLENDS AVAILABLE

Not all farms are the same so Hatuma is able to blend a full range of products and trace elements to FuturepHos® to fit your requirements and budget.
